Wooden plaque

Exceptional plate in pyrograved wood carved in the manner of alphonse mucha. Portrait in profile of a woman wearing many ornaments in the decorative style so typical of art nouveau. The portrait on a circular background is framed by two sublime carved peacock feathers. Signed ml. A slight coloring of the wood is still present. Circa: 1920. Nice vintage condition. Note, some lack of ornaments to see on the descriptive photographs. 5 small hanging holes. Measurements: Height: 35.5 cm / 13.97 in. Width: 63 cm / 24, 8 in.
