Description
This original air france planisphere from 1937 was designed by lucien boucher. It is on montgolfier paper, which is extremely rare, the majority of works on montgolfier paper were probably thrown away at the time. This gives it an incomparable patina. It measures approximately 64 X 100 cm and depicts air france's flight routes of the time, stretching from europe to the far east, brazil and argentina. Note, there were no flights connecting europe to north america at this time, this route being dominated by the liner normandie. Its colors are fresh and magnificent, its condition is a+, impeccable. Hand delivery possible in paris or st maur des fossés. Learn more about the work: this limited poster by lucien boucher is an artistic representation of the world map, highlighting air france's global reach.
