Mid century retro vintage teak pair of small sideboards by GPlan 1960

Mid century retro vintage teak pair cabinet. These super small cabinets by gplan were produced in the middle of the 20th century. Gplan is known to this day for their high quality produced furniture. These particular pieces are from their "fresco" range. The fresco range was designed by victor wilkins and is the most popular ranges from gplan. With the double door cabinet these pieces give a lot of storage. All in all a fantatstic addition for every mid century design fan. British furniture designer victor bramwell (v.b.) wilkins is best known for his fresco range for g-plan. Although all of wilkins known works were produced by gplan, there is little biographical information available on the designer. It can be assumed, however, that he worked as an in - house designer for the british manufacturer for many years. In a good used vintage condition with some minor signs of use typical for a piece that age. L 81cm X d 45, 5cm X h 75, 5cm.
