1950s Rattan chair by Gebroeders Jonkers, Netherlands

A nice easy chair from the 1950s by dutch manufacturer gebroeders jonkers in highly recognizable style! Made of natural rattan in nice curved shapes. This was a very popular style in the netherlands around the 1950s, and nowadays it’s a much sought after style worldwide. The tubular black lacquered metal frame is a nice finish to it’s design. The tall backrest and curved armrests add nicely to the seating comfort of the piece. This piece remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
