Vintage Wilkhahn 190 office chair by Hans Roericht 1970s

This wilkhahn office chair model 190, in a wonderful shade of beige with a deep black shell, is in very good condition. Only the shell shows minimal signs of wear on the back. The height adjustment works perfectly. The model 190 was designed by hans roericht in the late 70s. Classic in 70s design more than 100 years ago, the wilkhahn company was founded by friedrich hahne and christian wilkening as a chair factory. In 1946, contact was made with the deutsche werkstätten with the designers georg leowald and herbert hirche, who worked in the bauhaus tradition. Since then, wilkhahn has been one of the leading manufacturers of office furniture.
