Yellow ochre speckled wall lamp, Clichy opaline, 40s

Magnificent wall lamp full of charm and warmth composed of gilded brass, steel and speckled yellow clichy opaline. The latter is lined with gold edges that add further effect to the applique. Its beautiful size will allow you to place it in a color or on a section of wall. The globe is recognizable by its radiation, density and reflective index. It is solid and made of thick speckled glass. Its design is remarkable. It consists of a patinated wrought iron rod "rifle barrel" in the shape of a point decorated with a small golden brass ball on the lower part and serving as an arm of light. It has gone through time without damage while retaining all its beauty. (only less traces of use). A nice collector that will add a beautiful vintage note to your interior. For the record: the clichy crystal factory was founded in clichy la garenne in 1842 by louis-joseph maës. It is in the nineteenth century one of the main french crystal works. It is also called the cristallerie maës. It was a prestigious factory of the eleventh century. Its final closure took place in 1896. The crystal factory is well known for its paperpress balls decorated with filigrees and multicolored "millefiori" candies.
