Large Chinese carved camphor wood chest from the 20s/30s

Old chinese luggage chest in carved camphor wood. Beautiful hand-carved wood craftsmanship at the beginning of the 20th century. It is in good condition, very clean inside (you can put laundry there for example or your most beautiful souvenirs). It has a brass closure to which you can add a padlock if necessary. A few small, classic traces of use without consequence, the trunk is stable and robust, with no particular defects. This ancient chinese carved hardwood chest represents figures and scenes in relief. The sculptures represent junks, the sea, the mountain and flowers. The base is art deco style. It's a superb interior piece that you can use at the end of a bed, as a coffee table or side table. This is a beautiful antique and collectible piece.
