Very beautiful pair of authentic chairs model S24 created by Pierre Chapo. French furniture designer and craftsman. Pierre Chapo studied architecture at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, where he graduated in 1958. He emphasized the strength of half-timbered corner joints to ensure the rigidity of a chair with a very clean line. The seat leather is stretched by a clever braiding of ropes underneath.
