Description
Period: ca. 1910 – 1930 A medium-sized vase whose central part is sunny yellow with greenish flows; this area features three large stylized tree designs. The neck is dark blue and the underside is red. There are three rounded handles. Stylistically, this is between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. This is called Flemish pottery. Several centers of this type of earthenware were active in parallel in Belgium and it is difficult to attribute the pieces because they were rarely marked. This vase is probably from Kortrijk or Thourout. Dimensions: 24 cm high, 16 cm diameter, 1.1 kg Condition: Very good.
