Lou is a pretty bedside or side table in good quality solid walnut wood. A pretty decorative, functional and timeless piece of furniture that will bring an original touch to your interior, in a bedroom, entryway or small boudoir reading room. You can place there a pretty porcelain vase garnished with seasonal flowers, a pretty majestic floor lamp, a few books or trinkets of your choice, your secrets. This pretty piece of furniture is furnished with a drawer and a very suitable interior storage space. We love the delicate aesthetic of the curved legs decorated with small golden moldings which give it all the originality and charm of old furniture. I restored, upgraded and decorated this beautiful object while respecting its aesthetic origin to give it contemporary functionality. This old vintage piece of furniture deserves to find its place in our modern and environmentally friendly interior decoration. To revamp this pretty piece of furniture, I used annie sloan natural chalk paint paints, matte black, not glossy or satin, on the entire piece of furniture and white under the piece of furniture. Venetian baroque stencil and stampéria gilding made in italia, royal chinoiserie non-woven decorative paper on the theme of wild nature (flowers, birds), small embroidered borders in off-white linen to enhance the decorative paper table, legs decorated in rice paper flowery, patinated and gilded. The piece of furniture is waxed in a colorless and black maison libéron patina. Cleaning without product only a soft, dry and clean cloth. The piece of furniture has been revamped inside and out, including the drawer which has been completely upholstered. Lou is a contemporary artistic decorative creation dated and signed for new collectors. The object fully participates in the goodwill that I have for the protection of our environment under the motto of antoine lavoisier “nothing is lost, everything is transformed”.
