1960s “Symphoni” Hanging lamp by Preben Dahl for Hans Følsgaard A/S, Denmark

A beautiful hanging lamp designed by preben dahl and manufactured by hans folsgaard in denmark around 1960. Part of the “sympfoni” series designed by dahl. Pieces of these series can all be recognized by there resembling structure and materials. This is the hanging light from that series. This fantastic piece of scandinavian modern design is made of high quality white and grey lacquered metal. The origami like shapes of the metal plates combine very nicely into an elegant shape that emits light in it’s very own unique way when lit! This lamp would make a most decorative addition to the decor and adds beautifully to the atmosphere when lit. It remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
