art deco buffet

Old 2-part solid oak sideboard transformed into a low sideboard. The back of the cabinet and the center of the back are in pine (visible in photos). The shelf and the back are covered with farrow and ball paint. The cabinet was sandblasted and then sanded manually, previously treated with insecticide and fungicide. It is coated with red laterite velvet paint and protected by an annie sloan patina wax finish. The locks are new. The handles and hinges are original. The top of this sideboard is protected by a matt varnish and a hard bottom. The holes intended to receive the upper part have been filled with old oak (details visible in photos). H 98 xl 142 xp 52.
