Precision balance, Paris, ca. 1900

Chemist's scales, signed a. Collot, paris, before 1901. The house was founded by collot frères in 1848 and taken over by longue after 1901. Numbered no. 94, inscribed "appareil de projection lumineuse", measuring accuracy 1/10th of a milligram. Very rare specimen with magnifying optics for precise weight reading. Optics clouded, otherwise very good condition. All glasses undamaged, wood probably blond mahogany, (missing weights).
