Description
Faience vase with a tapered body, opening onto a flared collar with cut-out lips and a frieze of the cross. It is also decorated with golden and relief motifs: flowers with scrolls or turquoise and white enamels, and foliage streaked on a midnight blue background. This vase is equipped with two handles, formed of trumpet flowers, one of which has traces of accident. The underside bears the stamp of the maison de bruyn, a lille earthenware factory located in the fives district, and in operation from 1864 to 1950.
