1960’s mid century Beaver & Tapley wall mounted desk unit

Beaver and tapley created their modular system in the early 1960’s and they are still trading today. Their unique offering was ‘floating’ wall mounted modular units, as opposed to systems like ladderax which need a visible support system. This is a desk unit, and should be mounted so that the counter is at the correct height for working on. (usually 70cm) Beaver and tapley also devised their own wall mounting system using a wooden bar with inbuilt spirit level that the cabinet hangs from. This makes it very easy to put up. Condition: very good mid century condition, only minor signs of wear reflecting age and use. Any damage - no matter how minor - will be detailed in this description.
