Japanese Sanyu Vase

One of the most renowned mid-century Japanese glass manufacturers is Sanyu Glass Co, a company that produced an exceptional amount of incredible pieces primarily for the Western export market. #Sanyu. The company has been producing glass since the 1950s, and was prolific in the 1960s and 1970s with a fantastic range of vases, centrepieces and artworks, available in a variety of styles. In perfect condition, no chips, just a small area on the top of the vase that is lighter visible in the last photo. Height 17cm. Width approximately 12cm. Base width 8cm. This curved table vase in coloured glass was produced by the Japanese manufacturer Sanyu in the 1960s. The diameter of the opening measures 5cm.
