Description
Louis philippe style armchair, upholstered in a tartan fabric. The armchair has a characteristically bent, so-called convertible legs and a wide, upholstered seat typical of ludwik filip style furniture. The armrests, backrest and backrest are also upholstered. Wooden elements decorated with carved wood carvings with a flower motif. The armchair has undergone a considerable metamorphosis. Tartan upholstery breaks the characteristic, traditional style of ludwik furniture, and the color of the wooden frame gives it a more modern look. The "heather gray" armchair is secured with high-quality wax, the decorative elements have been additionally gilded and patinated. The style of louis philippe in the furniture and french interiors of the romantic period covered the reign of louis philip I (1830-1848). Furniture in the style of ludwik filip is associated primarily with convertible, that is, s-shaped, curved backrests and armrests. The forms of the furniture became heavier and more massive than the rococo ones, and the representative forms gained significance again. The modern vintage style armchair is recommended! Dimensions: height - 99cm width - 65cm depth - 65cm.
