Very rare and renovated - Vintage design modular drop leaf desk from the 50s

Signed piece with the publisher's label under the desk. This desk has 3 special features: - 1) first of all the most visible: the top expands on the side by raising the side panel. This type of top is called "Drop Leaf". This allows it to fit into a tight space where the desk is not used 100% of the time. Ideal for teleworking - 2) the top slides to the side to center the desk top - 3) the last feature is that the drawer unit also slides from right to left to adapt to the use of the desk depending on whether it is right-handed or left-handed. Very ingenious! ✨ Condition: Desk in very good condition for its age, the top of the top has been completely sanded and renovated.
