Description
Old and rare plate from Amieux establishments. “Our motto is like our name: “Always A…better””. An advertising slogan, written since the end of the 19th century, which is the symbol of industrial and commercial success that remained in the family until 1967. Then sold to a famous group. The Amieux brothers produced at the Annaray workshop which itself produced at Marius Bessone. It was in the 1920s that the creation of the advertising character of a cook became the brand's emblem. Created by the Annaray workshop which produced at Bessone. Painted by the famous artist Marius Bessone, having a workshop - Vallauris with his wife Huguette. Bessone will participate in almost all of the Vallauris biennials as well as in prestigious exhibitions across France and Europe. Vintage 50/60. Authentically vintage. D: 24cm. Beautiful, very bright colors, no cracks: good condition.
