This 1960s danish round teak extension dining table exemplifies mid-century modern design aesthetic. Closely related to kai kristiansen’s designs from that time, the table features clean lines, craftsmanship, and a harmonious blend of function and beauty. The use of teak wood, a popular choice for danish furniture makers during that era, not only exudes warmth and richness but also showcases the high level of skill and artistry involved in its construction. The table's clever extension mechanism allows it to transition seamlessly from a compact size to a larger surface, catering to different needs and occasions. The table features two additional leaves, one of which has a slightly darker hue. This difference in color may be attributed to the less frequent use of the fully extended table by the previous owner. Over time, the natural wood will change its color. We chose not to unify the hue as it reflects the long history of the furniture. The darker leaf adds visual interest when placed between the lighter-colored tops. Our team has checked the table, and it remains in excellent original condition with minimal signs of use considering its age. The stamp of "danish furnituremakers quality'' located at the bottom, certifies its authenticity and high-quality craftsmanship. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and the surface is almost spotless. The table legs are detachable, making it easier to transport and store the furniture. Additional dimensions: Height to the tabletop: 65 cm. Width of a single additional leaf: 49 cm.
