2 Louis Sognot rattan pendant lights with 39B "Garden" wallpaper Antoinette Poisson, circa 1960

Pair of suspensions dating from the 1960s attributed to the designer louis sognot known for his rattan lighting fixtures and composed of an ovoid structure in round rattan rods, two top and bottom hoops in rattan also curved to support two cylinders of paper forming the lampshade. Since the original beige-colored paper was damaged, torn and stained, we replaced it with wallpaper 39b "jardin" by antoinette poisson with beige background and ocher pattern accompanied by beige cotton braids. Completely brought up to electrical standards, we changed the sockets to accommodate large base screw bulbs and installed a twisted white cotton cable for the electrical connection. In perfect condition since completely restored by us, this pair of pendant lights will find its place in any type of interior and will bring a vintage and artisanal touch to your decoration.
