Travel box, IndoPortugaise, nineteenth century

This beautiful travel chest is indo-portuguese and dates from the nineteenth century. The lid is pyramidal in shape and the bronze fitting on top has the shape of a stylized flame. The wood is painted with arabesques and geometric patterns. Inside the trunk is a side locker.
