Extremely rare set of floor candlesticks, in chrome plating, designed by mikaela dorfel for menu denmark. Set of two "twisted" candlesticks, made of steel. Design by mikaela dörfel for menu, denmark. They are inspired by a dancing couple and can be placed in several different ways, each giving the candlesticks a new look. You usually see them in normal/small size, but these are floor candle holders that measure a full 66 cm in height, 10 cm in diameter at the bottom, 7.5 cm in diameter at the top and then they weigh almost 4 kg each. These poles are almost impossible to find, even here in denmark and this is only the second time we find a set. Therefore they are desirable, exclusive and expensive. It is only the large set of candlesticks on the pictures you buy (the cola and the small/normal size set is to show the scale, the small ones can also be purchased from us, just write a message) The candlesticks are stamped with manufacturer and designer, see last picture. These candlesticks have been used, but they show almost no signs of wear. (they may be a little discoloured down in the "hole" where the candles sit, this comes with time) These candlesticks are no longer produced, and are therefore a very sought after piece of danish design.
