Louis dage (1935-1957) enameled art ceramic from the art deco period, antony's workshop (1921-1934) height: 35 cm diameter: 20 cm he was born in 1885 in lille and died in 1963 in saint-sever. His career took place first in the north of france (fives-lille, nimy in belgium, billancourt, antony) then in saint-sever. In 1920 he founded the faïencerie d'art d'antony (95), associated with eugène val, an important member of the ceramics and glassmaking union, where he collaborated with: jean de la fontinelle (specialist in animal decorations ), andré villien (a vase signed by the two men attests to this), • georges cassin (between 1936 and 1937 he worked at the national factory in sèvres then at the boch factory in belgium). Louis dage supplies the “pomone” art workshop of the “au bon marche” department store. He was “best worker in france” in 1925. Around 1934, he participated in the fitting out of the normandie liner. In 1935, the antony art faïencerie company was dissolved.
