Antique frame gilded with gold leaf

Late 19th century frame. I have completely restored this frame with gold leaf using the traditional technique called distemper (water gilding). Row of pearls gilded with mixture. Rounded burnished with agate stone. The work is artisanal which gives all its charm to this old frame. Very beautiful shine to highlight your work (engraving, photo, painting, drawing ...) External dimensions: 50.5 X 44.5 cm. View: 45.4 X 39 cm. Rebate: 1 cm. Old glass delivered in person only because very fragile but it gives an additional cachet.
