A elegant vase in great condition with a stylized fish design under an green glaze. Marked with paper label and incised marks for kage verkstad gustavsberg. The verkstad mark includes the initials kapa of the 4 principles of the group: wilhelm kage, master designer and head of gustavsberg from 1917-1949; bjorn alskog, birger arvidsson & axel pettersson. The kage verkstad only existed from 1955 until kage's death in 1960. This piece is covered by a variegated rich green glaze that has a woodgrain like texture.
