Very interesting piece of professional furniture, second part of a modular set of 2 (see my other ads). It was custom-made by the workers of a printing house in val de marne and meets all the criteria of authentic professional furniture: functionality (4 drawers on one side, one with compartments, each with its black bakelite handle + a large space on the other side with a shelf on racks) and simplicity (the non-noble parts are all in plywood and the construction is simple and solid. The black plinth was added more recently, to avoid direct friction with the floor. It highlights the wood/black contrast created by the handles. We also note that, originally, the bottom of the largest space is made up of two sliding panels! The contents could therefore be accessed from both sides of the furniture. This module has nevertheless retained something of its time: a fairly clear design, beautiful wood, and a beautiful luminosity. It has been completely cleaned up with care not to sanitize it. The traces, the marks, the small jumps in veneer on the bottom of the sides, all this tells its story. This is exactly what we are looking for with such a piece of furniture: that its experience brings a touch of authenticity to our interiors. This piece of furniture is very functional and can easily be imagined as a sideboard, a tv stand, or a storage unit associated with the other modules. L: 110 cm. D: 50 cm. H: 60 cm. Drawer interior: 48 X 43 X 9 cm. Door space: 53 X 44 X 50 (h) cm.
