Small louis XV period bonnetière in solid walnut. This gendarme hat model is a “travel” hat. The upper part is placed on a chest, like a two-body buffet. This technique was used for furniture that was moved regularly. The doors are molded in medallion: on the uprights and crosspieces. The feet are rounded and cut into the thickness. The door is secured with lace-up plugs. The cornice has a gendarme hat, the patina is warm and nuanced. The interiors are cleaned and glazed. Revised in our workshop. H212 l 74cm (cornice) d 50 cm.
