Superb tomado holland wall shelf - adriaan dekker - vintage 50's tomado holland modular shelves inspired by the dutch de stijl movement, designed by designer adriaan dekker. Pretty designer and authentic piece of furniture in very good vintage condition. The metal structure is made up of 2 black metal uprights, 1 blue shelf, 1 red, and 1 yellow. The trays are all 3 stamped tomado holland. This is an original edition from the 1950s. Adriaan dekker is a 20th century dutch designer. His best-known work is the wall shelf designed for tomado in the 1950s. De stijl movement de stijl (dutch "the style") is an artistic movement in the netherlands, founded in 1917 by theo van doesburg, who published from october 1917 to january 1932 an art magazine, de stijl, an organ for disseminating the neoplastic ideas of piet mondrian and the members of the de stijl group. Clean and perfectly usable as is with some traces related to its age and use. Small light traces of corrosion on the side uprights.
