Joe Colombo wall lamp for Stilnovo

Vintage articulated wall lamp by joe colombo for stilnovo in 1966. Meticulously manufactured, this lamp is equipped with multiple tips such as springs in the ball joints for its orientation. The screws have been specially designed by the publisher stilnovo, the white lacquered metal lampshade is fitted with a black bakelite tip to allow grip allowing orientation thanks to the ball joint located between the arm and the bell. The two screws at this location are spring-mounted so that the hardness of the movement can be adjusted. The recently replaced socket accommodates a standard screw base bulb. The plug (of italian origin) was also recently replaced. The switch is original and works perfectly. The wire inside the 2 arms is in perfect condition. The condition of the lamp is excellent, this luminaire shows no signs of weakness, all movements are possible and very fluid. Ideal for lighting a picture or above a kitchen counter, etc. The fixing is a white bracket attached with two screws. The end of the arm then slides from above and is fixed with the original screw! Maximum span with arms unfolded: 100cm, lampshade width 13cm and length 20cm stilnovo has been a benchmark for exceptional quality since the 1950s and stands out from other publishers thanks to the exceptional quality of the materials and unique manufacturing methods.
