Description
The head of hygieia is a greek sculpture of the second classicism, dated to the middle of the fourth century bc. It is attributed to the sculptor scopas. Hygieia was the greek goddess of health, the head of hygieia found retains all its features almost intact. Reproduction in hand-patinated resin on a varnished stained oak base. Mold made from an imprint of the original work kept in the museum of the national archaeological museum of athens, registered under the number 3602. This reproduction was purchased from the museum in athens. Head dimensions: 14 X 17, height 23, height of the set with the base 26 cm. Weight 1.7 kg.
