Pierre Chapo 3-seater sofa

Model sofa s32 created by pierre chapo in 1967, this copy, distributed to by roche bobois dates back to the 1980s. 3 real squares wide and enveloping. The seat is suspended via a system of hooks now a thick rubber plate. The backrest, unlike the armchairs that are available in the same series, is made of wood but the soft part of the leather back typical of this product is present. The solid elm structure is assembled without any screws or ankles, just thanks to an ingenious assembly like a headache. Original caramel-coloured thick leather coating. Patina left voluntarily in its juice. The sofa itself is in excellent condition. And it's surprisingly light because of its suspension design.
