Steel Braced Shelf by Wolfgang Laubersheimer for Pentagon, 1980s

A classic 1980s design. The design called the 'gespanntes regal' or 'braced shelf' is based around the concept of metal shelving unit that is bent whilst under tension. The tension is maintained by a metal cable running down the side of the cabinet. A heavy item it is made from steel that is lacquered in a silver powder coating. Minor rub marks only. No scratching or dents.
