Large bar cabinet by Louis Paolozzi for René Godfrid

Magnificent bar furniture designed by Louis Paolozzi for the French manufacturer René Godfrid (French manufacturer of high-end products). With this piece of furniture, Paolozzi introduced the famous Italian design of the 1960s into the René Godfrid collection. The cabinet is made from an oak veneer body with solid oak end strips to prevent damage. This sideboard is made up of two different types of wood: Mahogany, present on the two legs at the ends Oak veneer on the structure and doors Solid oak on all the fields of the facade The facade is made up of three drawers on the lower part and two key doors, each of which has two handles. The interior is made up of shelves and a compartment for bottles. The screws are made of brass. Louis Paolozzi chose woods of different colors to create a contrast between the elements. The R-shaped base is the signature of the Paolozzi style. Condition: Very good condition, note the handles of the furniture were made up of a plastic part behind the brass hoop, part missing on this piece of furniture. However, the different cupboards open easily.
