Warren Platner Large Leather Desk by Knoll International, 1973

In 1973, Knoll launched the Platner Executive Office collection. The sleekly profiled executive desk features a bulbous oak surround with a black leather writing surface, supported by polished chrome legs and elongated feet. Drawers of various sizes can be mounted beneath the desk for storage. The collection included matching leather-covered credenzas with upper storage units, square and round tables, desk extensions and other accessories. Platner defined a "classic" as something that, every time you look at it, you accept it as it is and see no way to improve it. This is part of a complete Platner Executive Set that is also available on the website. A smaller version of this table is also available. Strong condition. Legs and oak borders in good condition. Leather has clear signs of use (see photo's) If mint condition is required, we advise to reupholster the leather top.
