Set of two Lunéville earthenware fruit bowls

Set of two lunéville earthenware compote dishes with a pretty patriotic decoration printed in blue on an off-white background, composed of lorraine crosses, thistles and alerions. This service was produced to celebrate the visit of empress eugénie to nancy and lunéville in 1866. Good used condition with some traces of wear from time. Trace of a chip glued back on the top of the left compote dish. The right compote dish is in good condition without chips or cracks. The photos serve as a description! Dimensions: 11.5 cm X 22 cm.
