A functional royal system teak wall unit by poul cadovius from the 1960s is a one-bay composition, ideal for a small living room or bedroom. A cabinet and large vitrine will provide a spacious storage space and expose books, or decorations. It is suitable for vinyl lovers to expose gramophone and vinyl records. Two wooden rails with tilted holes – a signature of early editions of cadovius wall units, provide an easy mounting system with various possibilities of arrangements. The set features brilliant carpentry and showcases the rich teak wood grain. The slightly sloping edge profile of the cabinets shows the mastery of danish craftsmanship. Cadovius considered the cado system one of his most exclusive and successful designs. The system is easy to mount on the wall, with each component fitted onto dowel holes without any visible suspension. This vintage wall unit is entirely modular, allowing one to place cabinets as needed. The shown setup is just an example. This set consists of: Cabinet with sliding doors and two inner drawers and shelves; h: 52 / w: 80 / d: 46 cm; drawers height: 3 cm. A cabinet with glass doors h: 65/w: 80/ d: 30 cm. 2 wooden rails, each 200 cm long. Our team checked the wall unit thoroughly. All parts fit together, and the interiors are clean with smoothly sliding doors and drawers. Manufacturer serial numbers and engraves made in denmark are preserved, which validates the origin. The wall unit is in fantastic vintage conditions with minor signs of use, the wood was coated with additional layers of danish oil.
