Baccarat bamboo cut crystal carafe bottle, 19th century.

This superb antique bottle is made of baccarat crystal - le creusot. Ball-shaped, this model in cut crystal is a baccarat classic. Decorated with bamboo cuts, it is nicely proportioned and retains its also cut stopper. The baccarat factory was renowned for its cut crystal creations from the 19th century and its collaboration with perfumers to distribute elegant perfume sprays and bottles. Elegant parisians, and even new yorkers, appreciated its chic and practical bottles and sprays, ideal for their favorite perfumes. This bottle dates from the middle of the 19th century, after 1840. The queen's crystal factory in le creusot was bought in 1833 by the baccarat & saint-louis crystal factories, the molds and models were taken over by these crystal factories. In good condition, it measures approximately 12 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter. This antique bottle is not signed. I report scratches and small, discreet chips.
