Louis XVI hand-carved headboards with chic vintage canework (1800s)

Two Louis XVI style headboards (cross bed / daybed or sofa / couch bedside tables) hand-carved and caned. Double row of caning on each headboard. The unequal size of the water-leaf pine cones as well as the work of the rosettes in the connecting dice confirm the artisanal manufacture of the period (19th century). Napoleon III period. Old and uniform patina. Louis XVI daybeds or occasional beds were generally used as sofas in living rooms. Possibility of making 2 headboards for a classy, trendy and vintage bedroom. Or make a sofa by redoing the crosspieces and a filling with boudin cushions, ... A few rare pits on the wood. The caning is tarnished and slightly damaged on the row of one of the headboards (see Photos). Dimensions. Width = 80cm. Height = 97cm.
