Description
Set of wooden bowling made around 1920 in a dart factory. We are around 1920 in a village in the north of france. A small company was then specializing in the manufacture of wooden darts and feathers. My grandmother, who worked there, had the game made for her son because the company could "turn" the wood. A bowling set sold at the time was taken as a model. So my dad received this game as a gift and it was pretty much his only toy with a wooden horse on wheels and a mechanic. This game then spent many years in the attic. It is as is, without repainting or treatment. The colors have passed and the wood is more or less light or gray (see photos). I do not know the rules of the game. I've always known him with a single ball. The pins and the ball are pierced because in this way they can be "strung" on a rope. A keel measures 25 cm.
