Vico magistretti carimate red chair set of 4

Set of 4 red Carimate chairs by Vico Magistretti 1960s. 3 in very good condition, 1 with some colourloss and poorer state of the cane. However no real damage and the joints are solid and sturdy. Originally designed in 1959 by renowned Italian designer Vico Magistretti for the Carimate golf club in Lombardy and then produced by Cassina. They were first imported to the UK in the early 1960s by Terrance Conran and retailed in his Habitat stores. A design classic that features in the permanent collection of many museums and galleries globally including MoMA New York. In the original red paint with the original rush seats. Each chair measures: 75cm high X 51cm wide x 47cm deep. The seat height front centre is 45cm.
