Bukhara-tekké carpet from the first part of the 20th century, native to turkmenistan or west turkestan. The soft and shiny wool makes a very tight and very fine knot, the velvet is silky, with bright colors, this carpet has a very special shine. These rugs have a masculine aura and have always been appreciated for businessman office decoration. These majestic carpets are certainly the best in central asia and are the work of the tekké tribe, but they are generally called "bukhara-tekké". It was not until the 1950s (1950s) that these tribes began to forge large carpets, which were more the preserve of the afghan tribes of afghanistan closer since the end of the 19th century, trade flows destined for european markets. Central asia was too far away to attract the attention of european traders so tekké carpets were made to be used by the tribe itself, so under the tent, so smaller. This carpet is in very good condition. Dimensions: width: 133 cm (4'4" X length: 180 cm (5'), 202 cm long with fringes (6'8 degrees). This carpet has been cleaned professionally and ecologically.
