Very large circular oak coffee table circa 1970

Circular oak coffee table from the 70s. In the purest spirit of the 50s, with clean, frank and airy modernist lines. An iconic design. It is composed of a tripod base in old solid oak in an octagonal shape. The top is in oak veneer and has been completely restored by us and varnished matt. A notable feature is the rigidity of the top which prevents it from deteriorating over time and daily use. Its minimalist and airy design, with perfect round lines, makes it a unique piece at the center of all attention. It is reminiscent of the coffee tables of pierre chapo or charlotte eérriand and will therefore fit perfectly into a modernist decoration of the 50s or in mix & match with more modern furniture.
