Travel trunk 1920 1930

Splendid art deco period travel trunk (circa 1920 1930). Fully equipped with its original elements, never modified, it is made of wood covered with coated canvas. It has wooden reinforcements to ensure the solidity of the trunk, to which copper hangings are attached at all angles. Copper locks are also original. It has two handles, one on the front and one on the side. The canvas is delicately punctuated by painted frames. There are still old travel labels. The inner lining has its antique fabric. Stunning original state. Wear and lack of use for objects as old and having traveled, as visible in the photos. These trunks were used for aristocratic journeys by liner, train or car, which was frequently the case for flat and reinforced trunks like this one.
