Old very large dovecote pigeon enamelled terracotta Bavent terracotta

Former pigeon, from a dovecote of the bavent earthenware factory, statue, garden sculpture in enameled terracotta early 20th century. Placed on the flight board of the dovecote it served as a decoy, a decoy, hence its extraordinary size (placed high up it had to be seen from afar). The different types of feathers are faithfully represented, cast aluminum legs, a hole underneath to fix it. Perfect used condition for an old piece having been outside, without breakage, the enamel is partially cracked, no fragility, the 2 legs are intact as well as the tail and the wings, a tiny break in enamel on one restored wing, slight enamel wear at the end of the tail, everything is visible in the photos height: 19 cm wingspan: 36.5 cm between head and tail X approximately 13.5 cm between the wings a large chick bavent and other pretty items on sale in my other sales...
