Set of 2 Drabert Lobbytop leather armchairs by Otto Zapf, 1979

A lobby top pair of leather armchairs made of black leather in the space age style in the unmistakable otto zapf style. The soft, high-quality leather on both armchairs is in very good condition. The solid metal frames covered with rubber-like plastic are flawless and have a plastic shell in which the cushions are placed and inserted. The armchairs offer excellent, almost new, seating comfort. The german designer otto zapf designed the lobbytop program at the end of the 1970s for the german manufacturer drabert in a line that was ahead of its time. In 1979 he received the if design award for the lobbytop line. Drabert was one of the most important furniture manufacturers of the 1960s and 1970s, known for its high-quality office furniture and during this period cooperating with well-known designers such as gerd lange, otto zapf, etc.
