Description
Square Thonet table, which is also and depending on: sideboard, sideboard, even saddle with 4 ringed legs at the upper and lower part, bulging in a “pear” shape towards the ground. The rings are reminiscent of those of the Fledermaus seats; attributing it to Joseph Hoffman would be a bit daring. Simple and refined table, it is complex and original in its construction and its assemblies, in perfect condition, cherry wood color. With original stamps (metal pad under the feet) Dimensions: 55X55cm and height: 73 cm. This model manufactured, according to the labeling and the invoice between 1920 and 1932, is not found in any 'Thonet and/or Mundus catalog. It is not impossible that it is the result of a special order for a large “cafe-restaurant” for “bistro” table use. More photos and information on request. Shipping to France and Europe or withdrawal from Alsace. It will be dismantled if the shipment is outside the European Union.
