Pair of Lotus chairs by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Kusch+Co

Here is a pair of chairs from the 70s resulting from a collaboration between a manufacture of excellence and a talented designer. Kusch+co was founded in 1939 by ernst kusch and has since built an excellent worldwide reputation for high-end design-oriented products characterized by top-notch functionality. Hartmut lohmeyer was an independent architect and furniture designer, who collaborated with manufacturers such as wilkhahn and kusch+co for whom he created this model called lotus, echoing its organic form. It was declined in several colors, several materials. If the tubular base remains common to all, the seats and backrests have undergone several variations, mainly in fabric. The model we offer is very singular, since the seat and backrest are made of wood. This gives it an even more stylish silhouette. A marvel! The chairs are in good condition, with traces of use and some lack of varnish on the wood. There are a few jumps of red paint on the metal structure.
