Pair of louis XVI period armchairs stamped in molded and carved lacquered wood. The backs with gendarme hats, connecting dice carved with stylized flowers, rest on tapered and fluted legs. Louis XVI period. Paul-françois jean - seat carpenter. Received master on october 5, 1784. He practiced rue du faubourg-saint-antoine under the name of "saint-esprit".
