Walnut Chest of Drawers, Restoration Period – 1st Part 19th

This walnut chest of drawers dates from the first part of the 19th century. It is characterized by three stacked drawers in the main body and a smaller drawer, called a “belt” drawer. Each of these drawers is equipped with a brass entry and an authentic functional lock accompanied by its key. Walnut wood has a warm, medium tone with visible grain patterns, typical of walnut furniture of this era. The drawer interiors are in oak and chestnut.
